Prison Ministry
We have three Prison Ministry Trips planned for 2013 with the Bill Glass Champions for Life Prison Ministry Organization. You MUST register for each trip on-line at billglasscfl.org
June 22 - - Saturday one-day event right in our back yard
-Huron Valley Corrections for Women in Ypsilanti, Michigan
-Gus Harrison Corrections for Men in Adrian, Michigan
-Registration Deadline = May 22nd.
-Registration fee = $15. plus your own travel expenses.
-Huron Valley now houses ALL female inmates in the State of Michigan. This will be a big event for the -ladies.
-Huron Valley has 1900+ female inmates at all security levels. About 90 are in Solitary Confinement.
-We will need about 50 ladies to participate.
-Simultaneously, the men will be about 45 minutes down the road in Adrian, Michigan.
-The Gus Harrison facility manufactures all Michigan license plates.
July 18-19-20
-Cleveland, Ohio
-Registration deadline = June 26th.
-Registration fee = $25. plus your own travel, food and hotel expenses.
-This will be a Weekend of Champions event.
-Thursday, July 18th - - our travel day with a formal Freshman Training session at 6:00 PM.
-Friday, July 19th - - all day in prison + lunch with the inmates in the prison cafeteria + free dinner banquet.
-Saturday, July 20th - - all day in prison + lunch with the inmates in the prison cafeteria + travel home.
September 20-21
-Cook County Jail in Downtown Chicago
-Registration Deadline = August 28th.
-Registration fee = $15. plus your own train ticket, food and hotel expenses.
-Friday, September 20th - - our travel day from Pontiac to Chicago via AMTRAK’s “Wolverine” train.
-Saturday, September 21st - - all day in prison + lunch with the inmates + travel home via AMTRAK train with a late arrival back in Pontiac.

Our church has been going with the Bill Glass Prison Ministry Organization since 2006. We have had 70 participants, entered over 48 different prisons and 419 people have prayed with us to accept Christ for the first time.
